ADM100 - Moodle 1.9 Site Administration for Non-Technical Staff

This 10-day course will help participants learn the basic administrative tasks required to manage a Moodle 1.9 site.  The topics covered include:

  • User Management: Authentication Methods, Creating Accounts, Permissions
  • Course Management: Creating Courses, Enrolling Students, Backups
  • Site Appearance: Front Page Settings, Blocks, and Themes; Managing Blocks, Filters, and Modules; Language Settings
  • Security: Policies, Server Configuration, Reports
  • Giving Back

It is expected that you have admin privileges on your own Moodle 1.9 test server.  If you do not have this, please contact Scott (scott@scottscourses.com) before enrolling in this course to have a temporary site setup for you.
